It is scheduled to be played from April 7–10, 2022 at the  Augusta National Golf Club  in  Augusta, Georgia . Hideki Matsuyama will enter the tournament as defending champion, as Scottie Scheffler will make his 2nd Masters appearance as a new world no. 1 player.
