Dublin – One of Formula One's legendary team founder and owner of the Jordan Racing Team , Edmund Patrick Jordan has passed away at the age of 76 years old in Cape Town, South Africa on Wednesday evening (March 19, 2025). Jordan was recognized as one of the successful F1 team owner from late 1980s to early 2000s for his own team Jordan GP Team. Jordan and his Jordan GP Team helped to carry the success for winning some F1 races from mid 1990s to early 2000s; most notably the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix , where the team finished one-two in a race that disrupted by multiple incidents and heavy rain. After the team dissolved in 2005, Jordan then sold the team to Vijay Mallya into the Spyker Force India team in 2007. Maranello – Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton will begin a new chapter of his career, after the British driver signed a multi-year contract for Scuderia Ferrari factory constructor on Thursday (February 1) starting 2025 season. This means his Mercedes era will come to the end at the end of 2024 season.
