Greensboro, NC – Since the FedEx Cup era began in 2007 , the Wyndham Championship becomes the final tournament on the regular PGA Tour season, before heading to knock-out system playoff series of tournaments called the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The Wyndham Championship is the tournament that marks the final chance for players ranked below top-125 (for 2023 below top-seventy) in the current FedEx Cup standings (prior to the tournament) to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs.
