Is Coldplay the band's only name since their first gig?

Image
British rock group Coldplay have been recognized as one of the highest selling groups of all-time since their first album Parachutes  released in 2000. Since then, the four members (Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion) have released numerous of most successful albums: A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2002),  X&Y (2005), Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (2008),  Mylo Xyloto (2011),  Ghost Stories (2014),  A Head Full Of Dreams (2015), and more recently Everyday Life (2019). But the only question that is still became mystery: Is Coldplay the band's only name since the start of their career? Coldplay's first gig poster as Starfish on January 16, 1998. Coldplay was not the band's original name. The group was firstly called as Pectoralz in 1996 to 1997 (and later Starfish in 1998), when Chris met his fellow collegemates Jonny, Guy and Will to form a band. Mentioned in the band's documentary film A Head Full Of Dreams

What if Gugudan performed as opening act of Coldplay's A Head Full Of Dreams Tour concert in Seoul?

Image
Gugudan might have been disbanded, but the girl group have delivered their major breakthrough music career from their debut in June 2016 until their disbandment in December 2020, with three mini-albums, two single-albums, and two sub-unit releases. But what if Gugudan offered to perform as opening act of top international pop singers and groups if they performed in South Korea? Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin performing during the band's A Head Full Of Dreams concert tour in Seoul, South Korea on April 15-16, 2017. Why Cherrybelle and Gugudan did not replicate the success of Girls' Generation and Twice?

Image
Indonesian girl group Cherrybelle and South Korean girl group Gugudan are having similar bad lucks, as Gugudan went on to disband in December 2020, while Cherrybelle currently on indefinite hiatus since 2017. Those two groups used the concepts of what the most successful girl groups Girls' Generation and Twice ever used, but they failed to replicate the success. 1. Cherrybelle Cherrybelle was formed on February 27, 2011 by Catz Entertainment (now CBM Entertainment), but they released their debut mini-album "Love is You" five months later in July. It was the only mini-album to feature Devi and Wenda, who parted ways from the group in 2012. In 2013, Cherrybelle released their 2nd mini-album "Diam-Diam Suka", before muslim member Anisa left the group later that year. - Is Cherrybelle disbanding? Speculations that Cherrybelle would have been disbanded was started in 2016 after the release of their third (or probably their last) mini-album "Reborn" (2015).

Winners and losers from the 2020 F1 season

Image
Despite having late start, the 2020 Formula 1 world championship have created some biggest winners and losers, and here are my pick: 1. Winners: Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen The big three dominated the season with more wins and podiums than other drivers. Hamilton has more wins and podiums (11 wins and 14 podiums) than his rivals Bottas (2 wins and 11 podiums) and Verstappen (2 wins and 11 podiums) to secure his seventh world title. The Mercedes drivers also traded more pole positions than other teams 2. Losers: Charles Leclerc, Sebastian Vettel and George Russell Those drivers started the season very poor, but they attempted to score more points but lesser podiums than the big three above. 3. Winners: Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren, Renault and Racing Point These constructors have shown so many progresses and advantage for their own cars, developing their cars which accelerate faster and higher performances than the 2019 season. 4. Losers: Ferrari-powere

Letters from Gugudan members after their disbandment

Image
On December 31, 2020, four years and six months after debut, Gugudan have been officially disbanded. Soon after their disbandment, some of the members shared their own feelings and expressed gratitude through letters about the group's disbandment and their upcoming future career. 1. Hana "Dear friends, Hello, this is gugudan’s Hana. At the end of the year, a precious time during which we wrap up the year, we’ve wound up having to convey sudden news. I feel very sorry and regretful. Do you remember the swelteringly hot summer of 2016? Even now, I can’t forget the first time that gugudan stepped on stage and met Danjjaks [gugudan’s official fandom]. I think I’ll remember it for the rest of my life. The days I spent as gugudan’s Hana, promoting together with the other members, were a truly precious time in my life. After the news [of our disbandment] broke, many people sent us their unsparing support and encouragement about our hard work and struggles up u
