Winners and losers from the 2020 F1 season

Despite having late start, the 2020 Formula 1 world championship have created some biggest winners and losers, and here are my pick:

1. Winners: Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen

The big three dominated the season with more wins and podiums than other drivers. Hamilton has more wins and podiums (11 wins and 14 podiums) than his rivals Bottas (2 wins and 11 podiums) and Verstappen (2 wins and 11 podiums) to secure his seventh world title. The Mercedes drivers also traded more pole positions than other teams

2. Losers: Charles Leclerc, Sebastian Vettel and George Russell

Those drivers started the season very poor, but they attempted to score more points but lesser podiums than the big three above.

3. Winners: Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren, Renault and Racing Point

These constructors have shown so many progresses and advantage for their own cars, developing their cars which accelerate faster and higher performances than the 2019 season.

4. Losers: Ferrari-powered cars
Unfortunately the Ferrari-powered constructors didn't show any progress throughout 2020, despite lesser podium finishes than the Mercedes, Honda and Renault powered cars. Leclerc only finished in the podium just twice (Austria and British GPs), while Vettel only sat once in the podium at Turkish GP.
