How to improve Joker's romance with female confidants in Persona 5 Royal?

So here's how Joker can romance with each of female confidants.

1. Makoto Niijima

Cherami Leigh can be virtually dated in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal as Makoto Niijima and Date Everything! as Chairemi.

Makoto is the perfect dating partner for Joker. After completing maximum confidant ranks with Makoto, choose "I love you" to Makoto, and she will awaken her 2nd and 3rd personas Anat and Agnes respectively. At the end of the game, Makoto gifted a Buchi Calculator for Joker, which unlocks Shadow Factorization in New Game Plus playthrough. You can also complete requests from Makoto in Persona 5 Strikers at Sapporo and Okinawa jails to strengthen your relationship with her.

2. Ann Takamaki

Erika Harlacher can be virtually dated in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal as Ann Takamaki and Date Everything! as Diana.

If you're dating Ann after completing maximum confidant ranks, choose "I love you" to her, and she will awakened her 2nd and 3rd personas Hecate and Celestine. At the end of the game, Ann gifted a fashion magazine for Joker, which unlocks Ann's sexy technique and crocodile tears in NG+ playthrough. You can also complete requests from Ann in Persona 5 Strikers at Shibuya and Sendai jails to strengthen your relationship with her.

3. Futaba Sakura

You can romance Sojiro's adopted daughter after maxing her confidant ranks, and her 2nd and 3rd personas Prometheus and Al-Azif will be awakened. At the end of the game, Futaba gives Joker her promise list which unlocks mementos scan and palace treasure chest detector in NG+ playthrough.

4. Haru Okumura

To start Haru's relationship, you must required her maximum confidant ranks and Haru's stronger personas will be awakened.

5. Sumire Yoshizawa

Sumire can only be romanced in third semester and she will awakened her stronger personas before facing Maruki's boss fight.

This also applies to other romancable female confidants like Hifumi, Kawakami and Chihaya.

As a reminder that Sae (Makoto's sister), Takemi and Ohya are female confidants whose are unromancable.

- What happened if Joker's post-Valentine Day gone wrong?

All or some of your romanced female confidants (whose ranks had been maxed) will come to your house with jealousy and angry faces, because you've dated with someone else (a man or another woman). They're instead gave Joker a limited piece of chocolate (and if Makoto's there with them [if she's not being romanced], she'll land her signature all-out attack/showtime move "fist of justice", just like she did in Kyoto bathtub scene in Persona 5 Strikers). However, Joker can also avoid those jealousy scenes by becoming just friends/platonic with them, which means they'll gave a full piece of chocolate to Joker, proving a true friendship with them just like Sabrina Carpenter's song "Seamless".
