What if Gugudan performed as opening act of Coldplay's A Head Full Of Dreams Tour concert in Seoul?
Gugudan might have been disbanded, but the girl group have delivered their major breakthrough music career from their debut in June 2016 until their disbandment in December 2020, with three mini-albums, two single-albums, and two sub-unit releases.
But what if Gugudan offered to perform as opening act of top international pop singers and groups if they performed in South Korea?
For example: Gugudan were offered to perform as one of the opening acts of Coldplay's A Head Full Of Dreams concert tour, which is scheduled to be held at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea on April 15 and 16, 2017. At the time, Gugudan were promoting for their 2nd mini-album Act.2 Narcissus which was released on February 27. If Gugudan performed in the opening act of Coldplay's concert, they would perform their songs from their first two mini-albums Act.1 The Little Mermaid and Act.2 Narcissus.
Two weeks before Coldplay's concert being held, Jellyfish Entertainment stated that the concert promotor who offered Gugudan to perform as one of the opening acts for Coldplay's concert had enlisted Gugudan to perform, but Jellyfish Entertainment rejected the offer, which means Gugudan would not perform as opening act in the Coldplay's concert.
The concert promotor, as well as the band itself (Coldplay) recognized Gugudan as one of the most uprising girl groups at the time. The promotor used Australian singer Jess Kent instead as the only opening act performer for the concert.
