Augusta, GA – After success with his back-to-back wins at Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship, Scottie Scheffler came confidently to Augusta National Golf Club to grab another green jacket, this time belongs to his wife Meredith, who's pregnant. Two years ago in
2022,
Scheffler won his first green coat for himself and for Texas after avoiding pressure from Australia's Cameron Smith.
This time though, the 27 year-old Texan faced yet another pressure against Ludvig Aberg, who threated Scheffler until the Swede (Aberg) and another contender Max Homa, just like Smith in 2022, being punished at the Amen Corner. Scheffler once again calmly faced the Amen corner by scoring pars, enroute to win his 2nd green jacket. Perhaps this jacket is for his family after he and Meredith is about to build a more harmonius family. Perhaps also he will name his kid after one of the iconic holes in Augusta National....

At the Butler Cabin, Scheffler once again received his second green jacket from last year's champion Jon Rahm. And as long as he's still the number one golfer in the world at the time he and Meredith welcome their first child, Scottie will be still being celebrated, even if his child can conquer Augusta National 27 years later and grab a green jacket in the future..... Scottie's child will be also pride of Scottie and Meredith as well.
