Roseanne Park, also known with her stage name Rosé, makes her debut as soloist by releasing her debut single album -R-. The 24 year-old New Zealander has enjoyed her success as a member of global phenomenon girl group Blackpink since debuted in 2016.

-R- released worldwide on Friday, March 12, 2021 across all music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and Tidal. The music video of its lead single "On The Ground" also released on the same day as the single's release. Rosé became the 2nd Blackpink member to go solo since Jennie in November 2018 with "Solo".

Elmont, NY – The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards is the 41st annual running of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) since its inaugural edition in 1984. It also marks the 40th anniversary of the VMAs. The 2024 edition held in UBS Arena in New York, was originally to be scheduled on Tuesday September 10, however the event pushed back one day to Wednesday September 11, the day after 2024 U.S. Presiential election's second debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
