In Memoriam: Dolly Parton (1946-2026)

Nashville, TN – On August 25, 2026, the music industry has lost one of the most prominent singers from 1970s to 2010s. Dolly Rebecca Parton, who recognized as the chart-topping country singer throughout her era has passed away at age of 80. Parton began her career in late 60s and collaborated with singers like the late Porter Wagoner and the late Kenny Rogers. Parton had released some of her most popular songs throughout her 58-year career such as "Jolene". Parton had also worked in duets with Miley Cyrus and most recently Sabrina Carpenter. Parton's husband Carl Dean passed away 17 months prior to her death.
