Wimbledon 2025: Swiatek shines as new Centre Court queen

Wimbledon - Iga Swiatek finally made her grand slam winning draught came to the end after defeating American's Amanda Anisimova for the Polish's 6th grand slam title, her first in 13 months since last year's Roland Garros. For Swiatek, this win is special, after she won the Girl's junior singles title seven years earlier when she said that "if I win here (at Centre Court) someday, it will be my dream come true" and now Swiatek's Centre Court dream is finally realized as she did on Saturday (July 12).

"I had to enjoy playing so well on grass because who knows whether that will happen again?"

- Men's singles final
The men's singles final of 2025 Wimbledon Championships will be the rematch between the two of current men's world top ranked tennis players, none other than Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. The two previously met each other at Roland Garros final last month in June which won by the Spaniard Alcaraz. Both Sinner and Alcaraz had won grand slam title each this past year in 2025, with the Italian (Sinner) won back-to-back Australian Open title at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on January, while Alcaraz defeated Sinner to win at Roland Garros in Paris four weeks ago. Who between Alcaraz and Sinner will shine at Centre Court on Sunday, July 13?
