Mexico City – Scuderia Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr. proves that he is one of the genuine title contenders for the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship thanks to his victory at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Reigning world champion and current championship leader Max Verstappen finished sixth behind the two Mercedes drivers Sir Lewis Hamilton (fourth) and George Russell (fifth) after the Red Bull Racing driver was sanctioned a twenty-second time penalty for forcing Norris off the track and did a dirty overtaking on Norris. Those collision between the top-two contenders resumed since where it was previously happened in Austin, Texas last week.
