My favorite girls born in 2001

LOS ANGELES, CA – 2001 is the year where the start of Generation-Z began, from the September 11 attacks, the establishment of Wikipedia, and the rise of Britney Spears. Here are the three of the famous/popular women who were born in 2001: Billie Eilish, Rowan Blanchard and Chloe East. (note that they turned 23 in 2024 and 24 in 2025).

1. Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is an American singer-songwriter who rose her fame with her debut single "Ocean Eyes" in 2015. Eilish scored her first number one single "Bad Guy" in 2019 from her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. In 2021 Eilish released her second album Happier than Ever, which features another chart-hitting single "Therefore I Am". Her most recent album, Hit Me Hard And Soft (2024) features two chart-hitters "Lunch" and "Birds Of A Feather". Eilish's older brother Finneas is also a record producer who worked for most of her (Eilish's) albums. Eilish also contributed soundtracks from numerous films, including James Bond's No Time To Die (2021), and Barbie's "What Was I Made For" (2023) which won 2024 Academy Award/Oscar for Best Soundtrack Performance category. Eilish is considered as main rival for Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo.

2. Rowan Blanchard

Rowan Eleanor Blanchard is one of the most prominent child actress in early 2010s. Blanchard rose her fame with her main role of Rebecca Wilson in 2011 film Spy Kids: All The Time In The World. Three years later in 2014, she embarked her most successful acting career by starring as lead character Riley Matthews in the Disney Channel hit series Girl Meets World, a spinoff from 1993-2000 ABC sitcom Boy Meets World. The series (Girl Meets World) run for three seasons and 72 episodes from June 27, 2014 until January 20, 2017. Aside of Girl Meets World, Blanchard booked numerous lead roles in more TV series and films, including Disney Channel Original Movie Invisible Sister (2015) as Cleo Eastman, Snowpiercer (2020-present) as Alexandra Cavill, and Hulu original film Crush (2022) as Paige Evans. Rowan is the eldest of three siblings; her younger sister Carmen (born 2003) is also an actress.

3. Chloe East

Chloe Monet East is an American actress and dancer. She began her career as a dancer at age of nine, before switching her profession into actress. Her first acting breakthrough was the 2016 film Jessica Darling's IT List, playing the lead character Jessica Darling. East has since made her lead/recurring roles in numerous films and TV series including Liv And Maddie, Ice, Generation Plus, Kevin (Probably) Saves The World. In 2022, East starred in the Steven Spielberg film The Fabelmans, playing lead character Monica Sherwood. East is currently married to Ethan Precourt since October 2021.
