FIRST DRIVE: 2024 Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance 4MATIC+

In today's first drive article, we will drive an all new 2024 Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance to the road with AutoTopNL in Germany and MercBenzKing in USA! Are you ready to take a ride? Let's Go! But first, check out our first impression of the car here!

1. Engine
First, let's talk about the engine. The new S63 is powered with the 4,0-liter V8 twin-turbo that produced 610 hp and 900 Nm. It is also added with an electric motor that produced 190 hp and 350 Nm. So this car is classified as a plug-in hybrid sports sedan.

2. Interior
Inside, the cabin is much more luxurious than its predecessor. The new AMG steering wheel now includes switch knobs that used to change driving modes: electric, individual, comfort, eco, sport, and sport plus. Moreover, the new MBUX system is also included with AMG Track Pace. Similar to regular S-Class, the rear seat had also a newly upgraded rear seat entertainment with tablet. The Burmester Surround Sound system makes easy when you listen to your favorite songs on Spotify and watch your favorite movies and TV shows.

3. Exterior
For the first time in the S-Class sedan, the grille uses the Panamericana model with the large Mercedes-Benz logo in the centre instead of the traditional classic-styled grille. For more high performance, the car is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires fitted into specified 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.
4. Driving performance
The new AMG S63 can run from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3,2 seconds, 0,3 seconds faster than its predecessor. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (290 km/h with AMG Driver's Package). When you drive it in the highways (autobahn in Germany) or on the various race circuits, you can feel the combined driving sensations with electric or sport plus modes.

5. Conclusion
The new AMG S63 is worth to buy; just about US$180,000 and it will be yours!
