Former WWE wrestler Windham Rotunda died at 36

Miami, FL – Former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Champion wrestler, Windham Lawrence Rotunda, known with his ring name as Bray Wyatt, has passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at age of 36. Rotunda died after fighting from illness since February 2023. He was known as the leader of the Wyatt Family, with Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper among the members of his group.

Rotunda's death was announced by WWE CEO Hunter Helmsley-McMahon on Twitter as below.
Rotunda's biggest achievement during his professional wrestling career was when he held the WWE Championship title from February to April 2017. He also won the WWE Universal Championship twice from November 2019 until August 2020, as well as Raw and SmackDown tag team titles he won each with Matt Hardy, Randy Orton and Luke Harper respectively. Rotunda's last ever singles match victory was when he won against LA Knight in the Pitch Black match in the 2023 Royal Rumble.
With his death, Windham left his younger brother Bo Dallas, his fiancee Jojo Offerman and two kids (a son and a daughter)
