Ten years of Liv and Maddie: ten of the guest stars

STEVENS POINT, WI and LOS ANGELES, CA – Liv and Maddie, one of the most watched teen drama sitcom aired on Disney Channel, had brought actors Ryan McCartan, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Joey Bragg, Lucas Adams, Jordan Fisher, Benjamin King, Kurt Long and Jimmy Bellinger; and actresses Dove Cameron, Jessica Marie Garcia, Chloe Wepper, Victoria Moroles, Kali Rocha, Jolie Jenkins, Chloe East, and Lauren Lindsey Donzis to the peak of their own careers respectively. Among those main cast of the show, there are also guests of the show who also famed outside the series. In this article we bring you ten of popular guest stars of Liv and Maddie!

Cameron Boyce is an actor known for his roles as Luke Ross in Disney Channel series Jessie (2011-2015) and Carlos De Vil, son of Cruella in Disney film series Descendants (2015-2019). In Liv and Maddie episode "Prom-A-Rooney" he portrayed Liv's cousin Krahgg, who attempt to ruin Ridgewood high school prom dance. Boyce died of epilepsy at age of 20 on July 6, 2019. The Cameron Boyce Foundation founded in August 2019, with Dove Cameron joining advisory board.

Kristen Bell is an award-winning actress known for her roles as Veronica Mars in mid-2000s hit drama Veronica Mars and as Princess Anna in Disney Frozen film series (2013-2019). She appeared in Liv and Maddie episode "Ask Her More-A-Rooney", reprising her role as Veronica Mars, who after attending a movie premiere with Liv, attempted to arrest Karen (Liv's mom) who Veronica thought as the girl behind Lilly Kane's assasination, but Liv told Veronica that Karen didn't kill Lilly. Later in the episode, Karen apologized Veronica for not killing Lilly, instead Karen and Liv witnessed the murder of Lilly. Veronica left the Rooney family with regrets.

Kevin James is an award winning actor known for his film roles as Paul Blart in Paul Blart: Mall Cop film series (2009-2015), Eric Lamonsoff in Grown Ups film series (2011-2013) and Frankenstein in Hotel Transylvania film series (2012-2018). He played Doug Heffernan in the sitcom King Of Queens (1999-2007). He reprised his role as Doug Heffernan in a Liv and Maddie episode "Cook-A-Rooney", helping Maddie to beat Artie at the cooking battle.

Piper Curda plays character Kathy Kan in season 2 of Liv and Maddie. Born and raised from military family, Piper also famously known with her role as Jasmine Kang in another Disney Channel series I Didn't Do It (2014-2015). In 2017, she starred alongside fellow Korean-American actress and singer Megan Lee in a miniseries Just Another Nice Guy.

Landry Bender is an actress and sportscaster known for her role as Cyd Ripley in Disney Channel show Best Friends Whenever (2015-2016). She is daughter of sportscaster Trey, who's also son of another sportscaster Gary. Landry currently works as college sportscaster.

Patty Duke is an award-winning actress famously known for her roles as Patty and Cathy Lane in mid-1960s hit The Patty Duke Show, the roles she reprised in Liv and Maddie episode "Grandma-A-Rooney" (also known as "Patty Duke Show-A-Rooney"). Duke died in March 2016, aged 69.

Laura Marano is a pop singer and actress known for her role as Ally Dawson in Disney Channel series Austin and Ally (2011-2015). She was raised on her family of actors: her mother Ellen is an film producer and her older sister Vanessa is also an actress. Contrary to her sister Vanessa who focused on her acting career, Laura is mostly focused on her music career. In Liv and Maddie, she played Fangs instead of Ally.

Laura Bell Bundy is a country singer and musical actress. She played Tracy Okahatchee in Liv and Maddie: Cali Style episode "Voice-A-Rooney" where she helped Liv to get her (Liv's) singing voices back after Liv previously injured on Sing It Live!!!.

Andy Grammer is another hit country singer. He played one of his hit songs "Honey I'm Good" during "SPARF-A-Rooney" episode.

The late, great Garry Marshall is a screenwriter, director and producer who's known for creating a popular sitcom Happy Days (1974-1985). In Liv and Maddie season 1 final episode "Space Werewolves-A-Rooney", he credited as director for Liv's film Space Werewolf. He died in July 2016 at age of 81.
