June's new major champions: Wyndham Clark and Ruoning Yin

Los Angeles, CA and Springfield, NJ – This June, golfing world has once again produced two new major championship winners: Wyndham Clark in the 123rd U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club in California, and recently Ruoning Yin in the 2023 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at iconic Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey. Both players are also earned their own first tour wins respectively earlier this year: Clark won his first at Wells Fargo in May, while Yin's first win was at LA Open in April.
For Clark, his win at U.S. Open on June 18th is perhaps more emotional since his mom's death in 2016. Clark dedicated his first major triumph to his late mother who died after fighting against cancer.

And for Yin, her win at Women's PGA is the Chinese player's biggest win in her career. Ruoning became the 2nd Chinese player to win Women's PGA since Shanshan Feng in 2012.

Just like last year (where Scottie Scheffler, Jennifer Kupcho, Matt Fitzpatrick, Ashleigh Buhai and Cameron Smith won their own maiden major titles respectively), there will be more new major champions to come next month in July, where the U.S. Women's Open will take place at Pebble Beach, while the men's British Open returns to Royal Liverpool.
