American singer-songwriter and actress Dove Cameron (26) has been evolved from being blonde in her teens turned into her black hair in her mid-twenties. Dove is currently preparing for her debut studio album after contributed her singing voices for soundtracks of Disney hit series Liv & Maddie and Descendants which she also starred in. And here's how Dove Cameron evolved over the years.
1. Liv & Maddie era (2013-2017)
Dove Cameron launched her career in both singing and acting by releasing her debut single "Better In Stereo". The song is also used as the theme song for Disney Channel hit series Liv & Maddie, which follows the twins of Liv and Maddie Rooney (both portrayed by Dove) on achieving their own different dreams: Liv on being popular musical actress while Maddie being top class athlete. Other hit songs from the series are "What A Girl Is", "Froyo YOLO", "My Destiny", and cover of Imagine Dragons' 2013 hit single "On Top Of The World". Liv & Maddie became one of the most watched teen dramas in mid 2010s, thanks to her famous catchprase "Bam!! What!?" she performed as Maddie.
2. Descendants era (2015-2019)
Dove made another lead role in the Disney Original Movie Series titled Descendants, portraying as Mal (daughter of Queen Maleficent). Mal went on to be crowned as the Queen at the end of the third film.
3. Solo era (2021-present)
After her hair being blonde since her acting breakthrough on Liv & Maddie, Dove turned her hair being black in the mid-twenties as she prepared for her most anticipating solo debut. On February 2022, Dove released her first chart-hitting single "Boyfriend", which referenced after she came out of her queer status. Dove's follow-up singles are "Breakfast" (August 2022) and "Bad Idea" (October 2022). Dove's debut solo album is expected to be released in spring 2023. The album is suggested as a answer to challenge her rivals like Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Zara Larsson, Ava Max, Mabel, and Lorde.
