MotoGP riders (including multiple world champion Marc Marquez) meets Indonesian President ahead of inaugural Indonesian GP
JAKARTA – On Wednesday morning (March 16), international Grand Prix motorcycle racing (also known as MotoGP) riders of 2022 world championship season, including multiple premier-class world champion Marc Marquez, visited the Presidential Palace at Medan Merdeka, Central Jakarta to meet Indonesian Republic President, Joko Widodo. The president also invited the riders to take a ride-along around Jakarta city streets to meet fans, ahead of the Indonesian motorcycle Grand Prix at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara this weekend on March 18-20. The race is fully sponsored by PT. Pertamina (Persero), an Indonesian national oil and gas company which also sponsored its Moto2 team.
