2022 Formula 1 top 3 constructors profiles

SAKHIR – The 2022 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season kicks off with a new era in the championship's history: the newly designed aerodynamics which made the car accelerates faster and more increased top speed. And ahead of this weekend's season-opener at Sakhir, Bahrain, we preview the top 3 factory constructors competing for this season.

1. Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team (Sir Lewis Hamilton and George Russell)
The British-German based constructor were having a rollercoaster season last year with the team clinched their eighth constructors' title, but failed to win the drivers' title after their megastar driver Lewis Hamilton lost to Red Bull's Max Verstappen for the title at last year's season finale in Abu Dhabi.

This season, the Silver Arrows will be promised to come back stronger with the new W13. Team boss Toto Wolff said that Mercedes will highly expected to achieve their ultimate goal for this 2022 season: winning both drivers' world title (under hands of Hamilton himself) and constructors' world title.

2. Red Bull Racing (Max Verstappen and Sergio 'Checo' Perez)
The British-Austrian based constructor enjoyed their success last season after their Dutch superstar Max Verstappen clinched his maiden drivers' world title. Unfortunately, Red Bull will enter the 2022 season as a sole engine supplier after their engineering partnership with Honda also ended last year.

With own constructor-built machines for 2022, team principal Christian Horner expected that they'll be more competitive for 2022 after their rivals Mercedes and Ferrari made major engine developments for 2022.

3. Scuderia Ferrari (Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles Leclerc)
Perhaps, fair to say that the Italian based constructor have experienced so many highs and lows, as well as strength and weakness since the turbo-hybrid era began in 2014. However with the new era of aerodynamics began in 2022, the Prancing Horse squad will highly expected to fight for the title once again.

With other constructors like McLaren, Alpine, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Williams, Haas and AlphaTauri (and of course with few constructors' line-up changes) are the underdogs for 2022 title fight, but they can still steal some excitements and (sometimes) change their games in some part of any races this year.
