Morikawa becomes 2021 Race To Dubai champion
DUBAI – 24-year-old Japanese-American golfer Collin Morikawa caps off his incredible 2021 European Tour season by winning the coveted Race To Dubai title at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Morikawa's victory at the tour's season finale became the third of the season after winning WGC-Workday Championship in February, and his 2nd major title British Open Championship in July. In the final Race To Dubai standings, Morikawa edges his fellow American, Billy Horschel who also captured two wins including WGC-Dell Match Play in March, by over 2000 points.
Starting 2022, European Tour will be rebranded as DP World Tour starting November 25 at season opener's Johannesburg Open in South Africa.
