Coldplay - Music Of the Spheres (album review)

Coldplay made an energetic return with their new album Music Of the Spheres. Released on October 15, 2021, the album released digitally on music platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and Deezer, as well as its physical format in CD, cassette and vinyl.

Coldplay produced this new album with music producer Max Martin, who has been worked with other award-winning musicians and bands including The Weeknd, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and many more. The majority of songs from Music Of the Spheres are co-written and co-produced by Coldplay and Max Martin.

- Singles
The singles from this album are "Higher Power", "Coloratura", and their duet single with South Korea's global phenom BTS titled "My Universe". The album's first single "Higher Power" has the similar tune but different lyrics compared with their song from 2012's Mylo Xyloto album titled "Hurts Like Heaven"; although some music critics compared "Higher Power" with Steve Winwood's 1987 hit "Higher Love".
