EXCLUSIVE: First look at the 2022 Formula 1 cars

On Thursday, July 15, 2021, the FIA and the Formula 1 Group officially unveiled its new car design for the 2022 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season. The 2022 car will use the new regulations for the 2022 season onwards. Specifically, the car used the same engine (1.6 liter turbocharged-hybrid), but the aerodynamics and downforce for the 2022 car had been highly more improved than the 2017-2021 model. The safety is also more improved, including the 'halo' which used since 2018 to protect drivers from dangerous objects such as flames, tires and debris.

Mercedes, Honda, McLaren, Aston Martin and Alpine are the first five constructors which had unveiled the 2022 F1 car, with Ferrari F1 cars to be launched at the fourth quarter of 2021.
