Tavatanakit wins ANA Inspiration 2021, becomes Thai's 2nd female major champion

Paphangkorn 'Patty' Tavatanakit stormed through all the whole four rounds of ANA Inspiration en-route to win her first major title. The Thai golfer became the 2nd Thai LPGA player to win a major after Ariya Jutanugarn who won 2016 Women's British Open and 2018 U.S. Women's Open.

Patty, who turned pro last year in 2020, was not included in the pre-tournament favorites to win ANA Inspiration. Her fellow compatriots Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn and Jasmine Suwannapura were included in the pre-tournament favorites to win ANA Inspiration at Rancho Village. But the 21-year-old Tavatanakit answers all the doubts by scoring all four rounds in the 60s.

Miami, FL – The Blue Monster at Trump National Doral Miami this week will host the 3rd annual (2025) LIV Golf Miami which has been part of LIV Golf League since its inaugural season in 2023. The course previously hosted a PGA Tour tournament Doral Open from 1966 until 2004, and held a World Golf Championships (WGC) tournament organized by the International Federation of PGA Tours from 2005 until 2016 before moving to Mexico from 2017 to 2019. - History The course broke ground in 1960 and opened two years later in 1962.
