How did Wendy survive from the serious injuries of 2019 SBS Music Festival rehearsal accident?

The Red Velvet member spend her 2020 year by recovering herself from the serious injuries she sustained during the rehearsal of the 2019 SBS Music Festival on December 25, where she suffered serious injuries, including a pelvic fracture, a broken wrist and a cracked cheekbone, all on the right side of her body. As the result of the injuries, Wendy was hospitalized for at least two to three months for further surgeries which succesfully completed. She also missed the promotions for Red Velvet's latest album The ReVe Festival III: Finale. In February 2020, Wendy was discharged from hospital after spending two months recovering, and began outpatient treatment. She made her comeback on January 1, 2021, at SMTOWN Live Culture Humanity.
