Neutrogena ads starring Hayden Panettiere still played during commercial breaks following the actress's death

LOS ANGELES, CA – Television viewers worldwide may still watch many ads of cosmetic and beauty brand Neutrogena which starring its brand ambassador Hayden Panettiere during commercial breaks of TV shows and live events since the Heroes and Nashville star's death on August 16, 2026 at just 36 years old. Two days after Panettiere's death, many consumers of Neutrogena products received backlash to boycott the brand. The brand's representative, however, responded that Neutrogena product sales would keep significantly improving in honor of the late Panettiere. So if you watch TV shows and live events, and during commercial breaks you'll watch Neutrogena ads starring the late Panettiere.

Panettiere had been Neutrogena's brand ambassador from 2006 to 2015. She ended her ambassadorship for the brand following her postpartum depression after giving birth of Kaya Klitschko-Panettiere, daughter from her relationship with former world boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Neutrogena is one of Johnson & Johnson's beauty and cosmetic brands alongside Clean & Clear. Other brand ambassadors of Neutrogena (past and present) include actresses Jennifer Garner, Lana Condor, former multiple WWE champion John Cena, as well as former Disney star and Panettiere's co-star in Scream VI Jenna Ortega.
