Two new sports cars made Indonesian premiere at GIIAS 2026

JAKARTA - The 33rd annual edition of Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the 11th year held at ICE BSD City in Tangerang, Banten in 2026, presented once again mostly electric and hybrid vehicles from renowned brands such as Toyota, Daihatsu, Honda and other international brands like Jetour, XPeng, and many more. However, there are two non-electric powered sports cars which making its Indonesian premieres: the Nissan Fairlady Z and the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT63 Pro. Both cars are exclusively distributed in Indonesia by Indomobil Sales.

Japan's most beloved sports car, the new Nissan Fairlady Z made its Indonesian debut at GIIAS 2026 with more stylish and sportier design than its predecessor. It is powered by the 3.0 liter V6 engine that produces 400 hp and 476 Nm of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds, the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. On the inside, the infotainment system is now equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with driving experiences completed with a nine-speed automatic transmission (for city drive) or a six-speed manual transmission (for racing experience).

Mercedes-Benz Indonesia officially launched the all-new AMG GT 63 PRO for Indonesian market. It is powered by a 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine which boasted 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque, making the beast of Affalterbach as the most powerful sports car in Indonesia today. It sprints from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds with top speed at 317 km/h. On the inside, there's the new MBUX infotainment system which also seen in the S-Class President edition that launched at GIIAS 2024. Owners of the new AMG GT 63 PRO also enjoying the seamless driving experiences, thanks to the all-wheel-drive system, and a nine-speed automatic transmission, with custom driving modes: individual, eco, sport, sport plus and race.

The GIIAS 2026 held at ICE BSD City from July 30 to August 9, 2026, featuring exhibitors from more than 100 automotive brands, locally and internationally.
