Kristen Bell to voice Amy in Sonic Movie 4
Los Angeles, CA – Actress Kristen Bell is confirmed on Wednesday (February 18) that she will voice Amy Rose in the upcoming fourth Sonic The Hedgehog film which scheduled to be released on March 2027. Bell is known for her role as Veronica Mars in The CW and Hulu drama series Veronica Mars (2004-2019) and has also provided voice of Princess Anna in Disney's 3D animation film series Frozen, where she will also reprise her role as Anna in the upcoming third Frozen film scheduled to be released in November 2027 as well. The 45 year-old actress and producer has also appeared in a episode for season 3 of Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie as herself in 2015.
The character Amy Rose which will be voiced by Bell in Sonic Movie 4 has been regularly voiced by Cindy Robinson in all Sonic video games and TV series since 2011. Bell will join the cast alongside Ben Schwartz, Colleen Villard and Jim Carrey who will reprise their own roles respectively as Sonic, Tails, and Dr. Eggman in Sonic The Movie 4. In addition, Bell herself became the 2nd Veronica Mars cast member to join Sonic film franchise after Krysten Ritter (as Gia Goodman in Veronica Mars) who played Director Rockwell in the previous Sonic movie (Sonic Movie 3).
