New Music Friday with Dove Cameron: May 2, 2025

Los Angeles, CA – After success with her previous single "Too Much" in February, singer-songwriter and actress Dove Cameron is back with her new single "French Girls". The song, along with "Too Much" which both co-written by Cameron in 2024 will be featured in her upcoming 2nd album which will be announced later in June. The album will be expected as the answer to Sabrina Carpenter's Grammy-winning album Short n' Sweet.

Dove Cameron's upcoming album will be sexier than 2023's Alchemical.

Cameron previously performed the song alongside "Too Much" and other songs from her upcoming album during her solo concert "Everything Must Go" on April 3. The Liv and Maddie star will reportedly to become the opening act performer in London for Dua Lipa's Radical Optimism Tour.

So Dovelies, we will wait for the release date of her album, but for now, stream "French Girls" here and now!

2024 MTV Video Music Awards winners list: Swift wins big again as Carpenter wins song of the year

Elmont, NY – The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards is the 41st annual running of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) since its inaugural edition in 1984. It also marks the 40th anniversary of the VMAs. The 2024 edition held in UBS Arena in New York, was originally to be scheduled on Tuesday September 10, however the event pushed back one day to Wednesday September 11, the day after 2024 U.S. Presiential election's second debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. UBS Arena (pictured in 2021) hosted the 2024 MTV VMAs . The award night was once again dominated by megastar  Taylor Swift with seven award wins out of twelve nominations, including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Video Of The Year. Since 2016, top digital music platform  Spotify released an annual year-end lists named Spotify Wrapped . Spotify Wrapped is an annual year-end charts which chosen by its artists and users. Users simply list their own top streamed artists and its albums and songs into the list. Although I'm not a full-time Spotify user, but here are our top 10 Spotify Wrapped songs list of 2024 chosen by me! (including honorable mentions).
