What's new in the facelifted 2nd-gen Toyota Fortuner?
1. Exterior
The only change from the exterior is the front grille where it carried from non-ASEAN market Fortuner Legendary which had been facelifted earlier this year, while the rear is unchanged but the rear bumper and sensors. The head lamps improved into DRL with full LED (VRZ, SRZ and GR-S only).
2. Interior
The interior had also got new features like wi-fi hot spot and the newly updated infotainment system (for higher variants like 2.8 VRZ GR package TSS and 2.8 GR-S TSS).
3. New safety system
For this new facelifted Fortuner it is also upgraded with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety systems which is standard for higher variants (such as 2.8 VRZ with GR sports pacakage and 2.8 GR-S with GR sports package) and optional for lower variants (2.5 G). The safety systems inculde lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, parking assist, hill climb assist and collision warning assist.
4. Engines
The engines are carried over from the 2022 facelift: the 2.5 liter diesel which is the same engine as Toyota Kijang Innova diesel producing 140 hp (G trim); the 2.7 liter petrol engine with 167 hp (SRZ and GR-S trims); and the 2.8 liter turbo diesel engine with 208 hp (VRZ and GR-S trims) which is the most powerful on its class.
5. Price
The price for the new Fortuner starts from IDR 580 million (base spec G) to IDR 798 million (2.8 GR-S 4x4 with TSS).
With its slogan "Leading The World" and new slogan "Committed To Greatness", Toyota Fortuner will be one of the best-selling mid-size crossover SUV not only in Indonesia, but also all over the world.
