New Music Friday with Sabrina Carpenter! - June 7, 2024

NEW YORK, NY and LOS ANGELES, CA – On this week's New Music Friday article, we feature new songs from your favorite artist. This time, it's singer-songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter who is back with her new single "Please Please Please" from her upcoming new album Short n' Sweet. The 25 year-old singer-songwriter had already gained more success with her first top-five hit single "Espresso" which also featured on her upcoming sixth album (her 2nd album with Island label after 2022's Emails I Can't Send) that will be released on August 23.
The album's pre-promotion began on early of June when tweets from Carpenter's fans about her "four-feet eleven-inches tall" popularity spread in advertising billboards and pamphlets in New York and Los Angeles. Then on Sunday night on June 2nd, Carpenter teased her new music with the snippet of "Please Please Please" and a kiss. The following day on Monday, Carpenter announced that her new album will be released on August 23.

The music video for Sabrina's new single "Please Please Please" continues the story from her previous music video for "Espresso". After being imprisoned for stealing a beach boy's credit card as depicted in "Espresso" music video, Carpenter is paroled on purpose and later met her boyfriend Barry Keoghan who she currently dated in real life since December 2023. During the music video, the couple did a money robbery. At the end of the music video, Carpenter handcuffed and kissed Keoghan with Keoghan's mouth being taped.
