Liv and Maddie season 3 finale review: Furious-A-Rooney – Liv And Maddie x Furious 7
Maddie arrived to California and stayed in Dominic Toretto's house for one night (Dom, Brian and Letty weren't at home, so Mia stayed at home with her son Jack). The next day, Maddie is picked up by Letty and Mia to Aunt Dena's house in Southern California. Meanwhile, Deckard and Liv headed to DSS office where Hobbs and Elena worked there. Then Deckard and Liv fought Hobbs and Elena, but the fight won by Deckard and Liv who detonated bomb to Hobbs and Elena and destroyed the DSS office in the process.

Meanwhile, at the Wisconsin's house, Karen, Pete and their sons Joey and Parker are trying to redecorate their house. At the same time, Maddie, Willow and Aunt Dena were invited to Dom's house for a lunch with Dom, Brian, Letty and Mia. Few moments later, Deckard and Liv called Dom and Maddie respectively, saying "you don't know me, you're about to" and then, Deckard and Liv bombed Dom's house and the Rooneys' Wisconsin house respectively and simultaneously, destroying both houses in the process, as well as killing Han. Karen, Pete, and their sons Joey and Parker survived, but their house had been demolished by Deckard and Liv. Dom, Brian, Mia, Maddie, Willow and Aunt Dena also survived but Dom's house had also been destructed as well by Deckard and Liv.
Dom then tells Hobbs that Deckard and Liv are the two people behind those plans.
Maddie, and Aunt Dena returned to their house, but then Letty and Mia came and told Maddie that Deckard and Liv are bombing SCSU as well. So, Letty and Mia want Maddie to forgive her twin sister Liv, but Deckard wants one thing: Liv forgives Maddie, but either Letty or Mia will die. Liv finally forgived Maddie for the mistakes she had done to her twin sister, as Dom stopped Deckard from bombing SCSU. As the result, Deckard was imprisoned by Hobbs in CIA Black Detention site. The Rooney and Toretto families are finally reunited in California, where Liv and Maddie are gifted a 1970 Dodge Charger and a 2016 Lykan HyperSport. Dom's wise word "The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. Right here, right now." is applicable for both the Toretto and the Rooney families as well.
Liv regretted on her mistake of evicting Maddie to California without goodbye, so she apologized Karen and forgived Maddie for the mistake Liv had done to Maddie. Deckard Shaw who manipulated Liv to betray Maddie is sent to CIA prison for causing the destruction of Toretto and Rooney families' houses.
The events took place in between Furious 7 and Californi-A-Rooney.

- Follow-up stories
After betraying Maddie, Liv heads to Abu Dhabi where she was instructed by Mose Jakande to put God's Eye at Abu Dhabi prince's Lykan HyperSport. The next day, Dom and Brian got that God's Eye, before Deckard destroyed the Lykan. Then Liv and Deckard escaped to their own hideouts respectively: Deckard hides in Ras Al Khaimah while Liv in Riyadh. When driving her Lykan to Riyadh, Liv is then surrounded by Willow, Andie and Holden, where they went to set Liv free from Deckard and Jakande's team as well as God's Eye, but Liv betrayed Holden, Willow and Andie, as Liv heads straight to her hideout in Riyadh, and two weeks later Liv moved to Dubai where Dom and his team found Liv after being snapped by Jakande and Deckard. Liv forgived them after underwent surgery and they forgived her. After being freed by Dom's team, Ramsey must to stop Jakande by hacking God's Eye's first system.
Even after being betrayed by Liv, Maddie went straight to fly to California and met Dom, Brian, Mia, Letty, Roman and Tej before Aunt Dena. Then, Brian took Maddie into Race Wars, where Dom and Letty also raced there. During the Race Wars, Maddie raced against her opponent named Iggy Azalea, who's also another SCSU colleger majoring engineering and mechanics. Maddie lost the race to Azalea, who called Maddie "a ghost girl" (like Letty), and Maddie slapped Azalea. The next day, Azalea and Willow came to Aunt Dena's house where Maddie lived, where she (Azalea) apologized Maddie for beating her (Maddie) in the Race Wars. Since then, Iggy Azalea, Willow and Maddie started being friends.
Meanwhile, Letty Ortiz fought with Sonny Munroe, who was one of Braga's henchman who ordered to kill Letty. Both Letty and Sonny were prisoned before Letty escaped to see her grave that indicated the day she lost the memory (her fake death date).
- Aftermath
The Rooneys resided in California for few years in Liv and Maddie: Cali Style. New characters featured Ruby, Priya and Val. After the series finale, Maddie moved to New Orleans for joining a WNBA club; while Liv achieved her childhood dreams: performing in the Broadway along with her "Sing It Louder!!!" show filming. Pete renovated the Rooneys' Wisconsin house.
b. Fast Saga
The Toretto team must face and stop Cipher for controlling God's Eye and Project Aries. Han faked his death in F9.

Notes: Paul Walker died in a car crash on November 30, 2013. His role as Brian O'Conner is due to be replaced by his brother Cody Walker. Piper Curda is considered to play Jasmine, one of Roman Pearce's girls, but dropped due to her filming the season 2 of I Didn't Do It, where she also played Jasmine in the series. Piper has also starred in season 2 of Liv and Maddie as Kathy Kan. Skeeter Parham is portrayed by Michael Irby who starred as Zizi in Fast Five. Skeeter is considered to be portrayed by J.J. Totah, but later dropped due to gender change to female into Josie Totah. Anna Sawai and Siena Agudong were considered to portray Elle and Samantha respectively, but dropped due to their own other activities. Both Anna and Siena made their appearances as Elle and young Mia Toretto respectively in F9. The role of Mose Jakande is considered to be portrayed by either Samuel L. Jackson or Denzel Washington, but both of those two actors lost the offer which won by Djimon Hounsou. Prior to Nathalie Emmanuel, Zendaya was offered to portray the role of Meghan Ramsey, but dropped due to Zendaya filming K.C. Undercover.
