It's new music Friday! And this time, we feature singer-songwriter and actress Dove Cameron who just released her most recent single, "Girl Like Me". It is Dove's fourth single she released in 2022 after "Breakfast", "Bad Idea" and her chart-hitting single "Boyfriend".

Dove had already won best new artist on 2022 MTV Music Awards last August, and the 26 year-old also won the same category at 2022 American Music Awards in November in which she dediacted to her queer community who involved as victims at Colorado nightclub shooting.

For now, Dove is currently busy in both acting and singing: for acting, she recently took lead cast in the film Field Notes On Love alongside Liv & Maddie co-star Jordan Fisher, and currently starring in upcoming live-action series Powerpuff, in which she will portray half of three Powerpuff Girls members namely Bubbles. And for singing, Dove currently prepares for upcoming solo studio album, as well as contributing soundtracks for films mentioned above.

2024 MTV Video Music Awards winners list: Swift wins big again as Carpenter wins song of the year

Elmont, NY – The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards is the 41st annual running of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) since its inaugural edition in 1984. It also marks the 40th anniversary of the VMAs. The 2024 edition held in UBS Arena in New York, was originally to be scheduled on Tuesday September 10, however the event pushed back one day to Wednesday September 11, the day after 2024 U.S. Presiential election's second debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. UBS Arena (pictured in 2021) hosted the 2024 MTV VMAs . The award night was once again dominated by megastar  Taylor Swift with seven award wins out of twelve nominations, including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Video Of The Year. Since 2016, top digital music platform  Spotify released an annual year-end lists named Spotify Wrapped . Spotify Wrapped is an annual year-end charts which chosen by its artists and users. Users simply list their own top streamed artists and its albums and songs into the list. Although I'm not a full-time Spotify user, but here are our top 10 Spotify Wrapped songs list of 2024 chosen by me! (including honorable mentions).
