Comparing Sun-Hi and Sun-Mi from Make It Pop to other twins from other drama series

In season 2 of Nickelodeon's hit drama Make It Pop, lead character Sun-Hi Song (portrayed by Megan Lee) meets her evil twin sister Sun-Mi (also portrayed by Megan Lee). The twins had two different visions: Sun-Hi wants to be a famous pop singer, while Sun-Mi wants to be a jazz pianist. The boiling points happened during episodes 6 and 7 of season 2, where Sun-Mi pretended to be Sun-Hi for stealing Sun-Hi's spotlights, but later Sun-Hi angried to her twin sister. In the following episodes (8-10), the twins helped each other until Sun-Mi left Sun-Hi at the tenth episode.

Megan Lee's dual roles of Sun-Hi and Sun-Mi in Make It Pop is often compared to other drama series, including Disney Channel's most popular drama Liv & Maddie, which co-starred Dove Cameron who portrayed both twins Liv and Maddie Rooney.
Dove Cameron provided dual roles of Liv and Maddie Rooney in the 2013-2017 Disney Channel Original Series Liv & Maddie.

Comparing to Sun-Hi and Sun-Mi, Liv and Maddie had also two different visions: Liv wants to be a popular musical actress, while Maddie wants to be a popular athlete. The twins sometimes distracted each other's journey of their own achievements, even though they're motivating each other to reach their own accomplishments. For the dual role, Dove Cameron's roles of Liv and Maddie are backed by Emmy Buckner and Shelby Wulfert.

The late, great Patty Duke who guest-starred as Liv and Maddie's grandmother and grandaunt had also provided dual roles in The Patty Duke Show (1962-68) portraying twins Patty and Cathy Lane throughout the entire series.
Patty Duke is the very first actress to made dual roles portraying as twins Patty and Cathy Lane in The Patty Duke Show (1963-67); the success being famously followed by Lindsay Lohan in The Parent Trap (1998), Dove Cameron in Liv & Maddie (2013-17) and more recently Michelle Monaghan in Echoes (2022).

The most recent drama series featuring dual roles of twins is Echoes (2022), starring Mission: Impossible star Michelle Monaghan who provided twin roles.

The base of the dual roles of any drama series are mostly taken from 1950 novel book Lisa & Lottie (also known as The Parent Trap since the 1998 movie co-starring Lindsay Lohan), which focused on twins Lisa and Lottie whom grew up after their parents were divorced.
