So what's the sitch? Facts you should know about Kim Possible! (plus possible reboot?)

Are you a huge fan of Kim Possible? Did you watch the animated TV series or live-action film? If so, you're so in love with the show. In this article, we give you some amazing facts behind Disney's number one animated show in 2000s. So here's the sitch!

1. Pilot episode
The very first episode of Kim Possible was premiered on June 7, 2002. It was released four days after the release of single by Australian female pop singer Kylie Minogue titled "Love at first Sight". The song also appeared on the episode, while Kim and Ron danced to the song. Kim also dressed like Kylie from her (Kylie) single's music video during the dance (although Kylie herself did not appear on the episode).

The very first episode of Kim Possible was also premiered the following day after the very first Jason Bourne film being premiered.

2. Comparison to Mission: Impossible and others
Kim Possible's spying and crime-fighting style is often compared to Ethan Hunt (pictured) from Mission: Impossible.
Many people compared Kim Possible's similarties to Mission: Impossible, such as Kim being compared to Ethan Hunt. Although based from her gender (female), Kim is often compared to Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Charlie's Angels, or Alice (Resident Evil).

3. Rivalry
Kim Possible became the 2nd most watched animated series in 2000s (only behind Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants), but still keeping ahead of Nickelodeon's The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron which depicted the similar genre and storylines to Kim Possible.

Tara Strong (pictured in 2022) who stars in Kim Possible-rival shows, including The Fairly Odd Parents, The Powerpuff Girls, also provided multiple roles in Kim Possible.

Kim Possible is also main rival to Cartoon Network's Powerpuff Girls (which co-stars Tara Strong who also provided multiple roles in Kim Possible as well as Fairly Odd Parents).

4. Women behind Kim Possible

Sadie Stanley provided her Kim Possible role in the 2019 live-action film.
Christy Carlson Romano (born March 20, 1984) and Sadie Stanley (born November 5, 2001) are the women behind the roles of Kim Possible. Christy provided her role of Kim in the animated series, while Sadie took her role in the 2019 film.

During the interview, Sadie Stanley said that she's a huge fan of Christy Carlson Romano who voiced Kim Possible in the animated series. According to Stanley, Romano is one of Stanley's biggest influences in her role of Kim Possible in the movie.

Stanley also huge fan of Tom Cruise, star of Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible film series which inspired Kim Possible. Someday, Stanley said, that she will be star with Tom Cruise in future Mission: Impossible films as her dream to be achieved soon.

5. Erika Tham being Bonnie Rockwaller
Erika Tham (pictured in 2015 promoting Make It Pop as Corki Chang) was cast as Kim Possible's classmate Bonnie Rockwaller in the 2019 live-action film.
Erika Tham (born December 15, 1999) made her role as Bonnie Rockwaller, Kim's highly intelligent classmate (sometimes enemy) in the 2019 live-action film. The singer and actress is also well known for her lead role in Nickelodeon hit teen drama Make It Pop (2015-16), providing her role as Chinese high school student Corki Chang. Erika recently debuted as a solo singer by releasing her first two singles "Admit It" (2021) and "Shhh" (2022). The character herself (Bonnie) was also regularly voiced by Kirsten Storms in the animated series.

6. The man behind Ron Stoppable
Ron is voiced by Will Friedle (above) in the animated series, while Sean Giambrone (below) took his role in the 2019 live-action film.

7. 20th anniversary special episode?
On June 7, 2022, Romano and Friedle appeared on Good Morning America to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kim Possible and discuss its impact. On that same day, a special Kim Possible-themed episode of Romano and Friedle's podcast I Hear Voices was released. At the beginning, Romano and Friedle interview creators Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, as well as voice actors Nicole Sullivan (Shego, who portrayed by Taylor Ortega in 2019 film) and John DiMaggio (Drakken). At the end, the four actors performed a brand new Kim Possible scene written by McCorkle and Schooley and directed by original Kim voice director Lisa Schaffer. The scene begins with Kim and Ron hanging at Bueno Nacho before entering Drakken's lair and tricked into being guests on Drakken and Shego's podcast. As usual, Kim and Ron escape but not before Kim gets into fisticuffs with Shego (with Drakken and Ron providing commentary on the fight).

8. Theme song difference
Christina Millian is the original performer of Kim Possible theme song.

Kim Possible's theme song was titled "Call Me, Beep Me" performed by Christina Milian and released in 2003. It was re-released in 2019 but performed in different version by Sadie Stanley who stars Kim in the 2019 live-action film. Prior to that song, some songs were proposed as theme song for Kim Possible, but later dropped. The song is also often compared to Jason Bourne film series theme song performed by alternative rock band Moby which originally proposed as Kim Possible theme song that later dropped.

9. Kim Possible's possible animated revival/reboot?
Christy Carlson Romano who played Kim Possible in 2002-2007 series is currently took her long break and enjoyed her life with her husband Brendan and raised two daughters Isabella and Sophia. Romano and fellow Kim Possible cast member Will Friedle (voice of Ron in 2002-2007) currently co-hosted the online podcast show titled I Hear Voices, which features interviews with cast and crews from other more popular animated series including Kim Possible. Other original casts were currently working with other projects, and also spend their own time with family as mom/dad. Nancy Cartwright who voiced Rufus the naked mole rat is also having more business in other animated series, including The Simpsons, where she voiced Bart since the series' debut in 1990. Cartwright will also promised to keep her Rufus' voices.
Sadie Stanley to reprise her Kim Possible role in possible reboot
Sean Giambrone to reprise his Ron Stoppable role in possible Kim Possible reboot with naked mole rat Rufus staying on his hands
Wendi McLendon-Covey from The Goldbergs (ABC) and Reno 911 (FOX) to play as Ron's mom in possible Kim Possible reboot
Nancy Cartwright still keeps her Rufus role in possible Kim Possible reboot while voicing Bart in The Simpsons and Chuckie in Rugrats reboot
Hayley Orrantia (pictured) will possibly voice Bonnie, if Erika Tham was unable to reprise her role due to her solo career
The Goldbergs showrunner and creator Adam Goldberg (pictured in 2022) will make his various roles in possible Kim Possible reboot series. Adam has previously allowed his portrayer Sean Giambrone to play in the 2019 Kim Possible live-action film.
Alyson Hannigan will reprise her role as Kim's mom (Dr. Ann) in possible reboot animated series.
Having previously being voiced by Nicole Sullivan in 2002-2007 animated series, Shego will be expected to be voiced by Taylor Ortega in the possible reboot series. Ortega had previously portrayed the villainous chararcter in 2019 live-action movie

So, if we're looking for the reboot animated Kim Possible series, we suggest that the stars from the 2019 live-action film will reprise the role and will feature new characters including Athena and Poppy Blu. So here's my prediction of few possible voice cast of reboot Kim Possible animated series (but still not real/unofficial):
