2022 US Open tennis women's singles final results – Swiatek conquers Flushing Meadows to clinch maiden US Open title
NEW YORK CITY, NY – Reigning world number one women's singles tennis player Iga Swiatek continues her dominant form by winning her third career grand slam title in the 2022 US Open women's singles final at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York City, New York. The Poland's tennis superstar faced 2022 Wimbledon runner-up Ons Jabeur in the final. The Tunisian rising star wants to win her maiden grand slam title after came close at Wimbledon, but in the end of the US Open title match, Jabeur went on to lost by another utter sensational performance by Swiatek who became the new world number one following the official retirement of Swiatek's old rival Ashleigh Barty back in February.

With the win, this became Swiatek's third grand slam title, following her two Roland-Garros titles the Polish superstar won in 2020 and earlier this year in 2022. With all four grand slam events completed in 2022 (which two of them won by Swiatek), Swiatek now eyes for the 2022 WTA Player of the Year honor.
