Mercedes-Benz Indonesia officially launched locally-assembled new C-Class

JAKARTA (via Otosia.com) – PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia (MBDI) officially launched its best-selling compact sedan, the new C-Class. The launch took place during the Mercedes-Benz Star Drive exhibition at Senayan City, Central Jakarta on July 14-17, 2022. The new C-Class will be marketed nationwide with locally-assembled models from its Wanaherang factory plant in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java.

"We make sure that the new C-Class will be the comfort zone and become the customer's favorite Mercedes-Benz car in Indonesia" said Choi Duk-Jun, MBDI president director.

- What's new?
The new C-Class has more new features than its predecesor. The new features include newly improved driving and safety features (including keyless entry, blind-spot assist and lane keeping assist), and the new MBUX infotainment system which cannot seen in the previous models. However, the engines are still the same as the predecesor. The C200 is equipped with trendy 204 hp 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo that suits for your daily lifestyle. The C300 with a sporty 258 hp 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo gives you more performance driving experience thanks to its AMG Line package. The new C-Class has more fuel efficiency than the previous generation C-Class, thanks to the EQ-Boost mild hybrid system. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been the main rival to the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4. The price for the new C-Class is estimated from IDR 950 million off the road Jakarta.

- Other new cars from the Mercedes-Benz Star Drive
Aside the new C-Class, MBDI also launched the newly facelifted CLS-Class. Other new models include the new A-Class AMG, the new E-Class, the new GLS-Class flagship SUV, and many more.
