a. Soccer: City won back-to-back Premier League title, deny Liverpool's dream treble
MANCHESTER – Manchester City retained their FA Premier League title, after defeating Aston Villa in the final matchday at Etihad Stadium. This became their sixth league title in ten years, since The Citizens won their first title in 2011/12 season.
Liverpool failed to win the treble despite beating Wolverhampton in the league's final matchday at Anfield. The Reds are now focus on their UEFA Champions League final match against La Liga (Spanish Primera League) champions Real Madrid at Stade De France in Paris on May 28.

b. Formula 1 Spanish GP 2022: Verstappen overturns Leclerc's championship lead with victory
BARCELONA – Defending champion Max Verstappen leads the current drivers' world championship standings following his victory at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain. The Dutchman's title rival, Charles Leclerc lost the lead in the standings after his Ferrari suffered major mechanical problem, forcing the Monegasque out of the race. Despite having minor problems during the race, the Red Bull Racing driver keeps cruising his Red Bull RB18 until the checkered flag, with his teammate Sergio Perez accompany Verstappen for Red Bull's first 1-2 finish in Spain since 2010.

c. Golf: Thomas wins 2nd Wanamaker Trophy at Southern Hills
TULSA, OK – Justin Thomas wins his 2nd PGA Championship at Southern Hills Golf Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after defeating Will Zalatoris in a three-hole aggregate playoff. This became JT's 2nd Wanamaker Trophy since he first raised the trophy in 2017 at Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
