Are we looking for another possible Fast & Furious spinoff?
Los Angeles, CA – At the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Ontario, Canada last Saturday night (March 1), John Cena won his fourth Elimination Chamber match by eliminating CM Punk last by submission. Soon after winning the match, Cena was congratulated by reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Later that night, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson alongside rapper Travis Scott came to let Rhodes accepted the Rock's offer which Rhodes later declined. Moments later after Cena hugged Rhodes, however, as per order by the Rock, Cena brutally attacked Rhodes and gave statement ahead of the title match at WrestleMania in Las Vegas in April. Cena finally allied with the Rock for the first time since 2016. Cena thus turned heel for the first time since 2003.
The Cena-Rock alliance ahead of WrestleMania, led up into one question: are we looking for another possible Fast & Furious spinoff film? In fact, throughout the Fast Saga franchise, the Rock has played the role of DSS officer Luke Hobbs since the fifth film while Cena's role as Dominic Toretto's younger brother Jakob Toretto since the ninth film received more acclaim. The film will be speculated to be released between the 11th film and an all-female spinoff film.
Vin Diesel, the actor who played the titular character Dominic Toretto throughout the Fast Saga franchise, is yet to clarify that whether the Rock and Cena will also reprise their roles in the 11th film which is set for April 2026 release or also starring in the upcoming spinoff film. Film directors Justin Lin and Neal H. Moritz also yet to clarify that as well.
We will wait and see if it's soon going to happen......
