Kacy Catanzaro: former Ninja Warrior superstar became the new Women's Tag Team champion

Des Moines, IA – Former American Ninja Warrior superstar Kacy Catanzaro (now known as Katana Chance) made headlines on December 18, 2023 episode of Monday Night Raw, where she and her tag team partner Kayden Carter won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship titles by defeating Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. It became Catanzaro's biggest achievement in her professional wrestling career since signing into WWE in 2017. Dating back from her Ninja Warrior career, Catanzaro has reached to the 2014 city finals but failed in stage 2.

Catanzaro (as Chance) previously won the NXT Women's Tag Team titles also with Carter in the six-month reign from August 2, 2022 until February 4, 2023. Three months later on May 1, 2023, Chance and Carter are drafted to Raw brand's main roster.

On December 18, 2023 episode of Monday Night Raw, Chance and Carter entered the championship match against the-then champions Chelsea Green and Piper 'Doudrop' Niven. During the eight-minute match, Chance and Carter did everything best against Green and Niven, and eventually, Chance and Carter came out victorious to win the tag team titles against Green and Niven.
