2023 Masters coverage guide

AUGUSTA, GA – Since 1956, Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) under its sister channel CBS Sports have broadcasted the annual Masters Tournament, even though live broadcasts started since 1960, when Arnold Palmer beats Ken Venturi by one stroke in a 18-hole playoff. It all began from CBS's agreement with Augusta National Golf Club in 1950. Today, CBS (acquired by Paramount-Viacom) has not only bring the tournament for TV viewers itself, but also for digital viewers as well through Paramount+ and Masters Tournament official website. Here are the current commentators for 2023 Masters Tournament:

a. Butler Cabin and 18th hole: Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman
Jim Nantz has been a lead commentator for CBS in both golf and NFL since 1988, succeeding Brent Musberger, Pat Summerall, Vin Scully and Ray Scott. 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman will accompany Nantz at 18th hole tower and Butler Cabin, where the green jacket is awarded to the winner on Sunday after the final round.
b. 11th and 17th holes: Ian Baker-Finch
Ian Baker-Finch is the 1991 British Open champion, and his best finish at the Masters is tied for sixth in 1992, the year where Fred Couples was victorious. According to Finch, the Amen Corner began from the 2nd shot of 11th hole.
c. 12th and 15th holes: Frank Nobilo
Frank Nobilo's Masters record was a fourth place finish in 1996. The 12th hole according to Nobilo is one of the "extremely" toughest holes in golf.

His iconic calls at the Masters were when Jack Nicklaus holed an important birdie putt at 17th hole in 1986 enroute to win sixth green jacket, and when Tiger Woods holed a miraculous chip at 16th in 2005 to beat Chris DiMarco, Rocco Mediate and defending champion Phil Mickelson. Lundquist also calls another par-3 at 6th hole.
