Park Sooyoung, better known with her stage name Joy Park has made her debut as soloist. The 24-year-old who is a member of elite girl group Red Velvet since debuted 2014 released her debut mini-album Hello . The album contained colorful music and lyrical themes. Chelsea won the Champions League title

Two weeks after losing to Leicester City in the FA Cup final earlier in May, Chelsea F.C.'s dream to win the UEFA Champions League have been realised on Saturday night (29/05) after beating Premier League champions Manchester City in the Champions League final match at Porto Stadium, Porto, Portugal. The Blues (Chelsea's team nickname) previously won the Europa League title in 2019. Having finished fourth in the 2020-21 Premier League standings, Chelsea have some up and down season progress. The Blues sacked their manager Frank Lampard in late January due to their poor performances in the previous five matches from late December 2020 to mid January 2021. The team then hired Thomas Tuchel who previously coached Paris Saint Germain in the past two seasons. Since then, they played more consistently. The 2021 UEFA Champions League Final will be the final match of the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League, the 66th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 29th season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs' Cup to the UEFA Champions League. The six-member girl group consisting of Sihyeon, E:U, Mia, Aisha, Onda and Yiren have rose their popularity since their debut in 2019. Everglow rose their poularity with their previous chart-hitting songs "Bon Bon Chocolat" and "Adios". They continued their success in 2020 with "Dun Dun" and "La Di Da". The Billboard Music Awards is an annual music award held by Billboard magazine since 1990. In the 32nd edition held at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on 23 May 2021, The Weeknd won most categories (10) from 16 nominations. The American pop group won ten awards, including the Top 100 winning song "Blinding Lights" which topped the Billboard Hot 100 song chart for three months. Abel M. Tesfaye (pictured in 2020) is the frontman of The Weeknd. The group won 10 categories from 16 nominations at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Monaco GP 2021: Verstappen takes glorious redemption at Monaco

Nothing can stop Max Verstappen from winning the Monaco GP. The reason? Because of his biggest loss of winning the Monaco GP in 2019 due to time penalty, this time the Red Bull Racing driver becomes the biggest winner at the streets of Monaco. From start to finish, Verstappen was uncatchable throughout the race. The 23 year-old Dutchman now takes the championship lead by four points ahead of Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) who finished 7th in the race after unable to overtake Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) who became Hamilton's major slayer in the 78-lap race. Monaco GP 2021 preview: The battle continues in the streets of Monaco

Formula 1 heads to the streets of Monaco for the fifth round of the 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The battle for the world championship continues as Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) leads Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) in the current championship standings by 14 points after Spanish Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc will compete in his home race after the Ferrari driver did not finish in his previous two home race in Monaco. The Monagasque is currently placed fifth in the standings after the first four races of the 2021 season. The last Monagasque driver to win in the home race is Louis Chiron in 1931. GFriend disbanded after six successful years

South Korean popular girl group GFriend will meet their journey's end after the group announced their disbandment on 19 May 2021. The group members also did not extend their contract with Source Music on the previous day . Debuted in January 2015, GFriend took their early success with two mini-albums Season of Glass  and Flower Bud . Their first hit single "Me Gustas Tu" took global attention after the group performed the song in the slippery stage in September 2015. In 2016, GFriend released their first two number one songs: "Rough" in January and "Navillera" in July. Since then, the group entered the highest competition against other top best-selling girl groups such as Twice, Blackpink and Red Velvet. GFriend's fans (Buddies) also cheered the group throughout their six succesful years. Thank you GFriend, you've all proved all the best! All of your fans will always missing you even after your disbandment!

PGA Championship 2021: Mickelson back in contention to win after 2nd round

Phil Mickelson continues to play his steady golf after tying for the lead through the 2nd round of 103rd PGA Championship at Kiawah Island Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The 2005 PGA champion is eyeing for his 2nd Wanamaker Trophy, with two rounds left. Mickelson (50), currently ranked outside top-100 in the Official World Golf Ranking shot 2-under in the opening round and 3-under in the 2nd round and tied for the lead with South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen, who's also seeking his 2nd major title since his 2010 British Open triumph. Oosthuizen shot 1-under on the opening round and carded his better 2nd round 4-under to tie the American five-time major champion who also won three Masters and the British Open in 2013. Norris renewed McLaren contract

Lando Norris (21) recently extended his multi-year contract with McLaren. The British driver is targeting to become the Formula 1 world champion on the McLaren since last achieved by Lewis Hamilton in 2008. "My goal is to win races and world championships and over the last three years McLaren have shown me that they’re able to build a car for me to do that in" said Norris in his contract renewal announcement. McLaren CEO Zak Brown and team principal Andreas Seidl are fully excited with Norris' contract extension. “I’m delighted with the extension of our agreement with Lando for 2022 and beyond. McLaren launched special livery ahead of Monaco GP

McLaren is one of the most promising constructors in this season's FIA Formula 1 World Championship after their drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo consistently scored points in the first four races. Bland takes maiden European Tour win in dramatic sudden-death playoff at British Masters

48-year-old British golfer Richard Bland finally ended his long wait for achieving his long-time dream to win in a European Tour event after beating Italian player Guido Migliozzi in the first hole of sudden-death in the final round of 2021 British Masters. The Englishman was two shots behind Migliozzi entering the final round, but Bland birdied the final two holes to force the young Italian a playoff after Migliozzi shot bogey and par on the final two holes. In the first sudden death playoff, Bland's tee shot ended in the rough while Migliozzi's drive found the fairway. With both players hitted their own 2nd shot in the edge of the green, Bland putted his ball just 3 feet closer from the hole while Migliozzi putted just outside 10 feet. With Bland putted for par, Migliozzi missed the putt to extend another playoff hole. The win took Bland into the top-15 in the Race To Dubai standings and top 50 in the Official World Golf ranking for the first time in his career. R
