Ewha Women's University - the story of Gugudan's first solo concert venue
Ewha Women's University has witnessed some of the most historic moments in K-pop music industry; especially when South Korean uprising girl group Gugudan performed there for their own major solo concert, as well as another girl group Momoland. Secret Number's member Soodam also graduated from this university.
Located at Seodaemun district in Seoul, the university was founded 1886 by Mary Scranton during the government of Emperor Gojong. Similar to other women's universities, Ewha Women's University has offered various faculties, such as: social sciences, liberal arts, natural sciences, engineering, music, arts and design, education, business, and health and paramedics. The university has also graduate schools.
As of January 2021, Ewha Women's University has partnered with over 800 other universities worldwide, including Harvard University (USA), Oxford University (UK), Cornell University (USA), University College of London (UK), Nanyang Techonlogical University/NTU (Singapore)
