Chronology of Romain Grosjean's huge incident at Bahrain Grand Prix

Romain Grosjean is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital at Sakhir, Bahrain following his survival from the huge opening lap incident of Bahrain Grand Prix, Sunday (Nov 29).



The French driver for Haas team was started 19th on the grid following his poor qualifying result on Saturday (Nov 28). He was then trapped by AlphaTauri driver Daniil Kvyat, who forced Grosjean to hit the barrier heavily. As the impact of that incident, Grosjean's car was exploded, and Grosjean went on his successful attempt to getting out from his burned car.
As the result of that incident, the race was stopped for one hour. Grosjean was later evacuated by the ambulance to the hospital near Sakhir circuit. Grosjean's burned car was also extinguished by fire extinguishers around Sakhir circuit.


The Haas team currently still doubted to confirm that Grosjean will able or not to participate in the final two races of the season (Sakhir Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix). But according to his injured condition, Grosjean will miss the final two races of the season due to his recovery from injuries sustained from the accident.
